Well, all the pets are viable now for one thing or another. There are still the pets that rise to the top.
Cats are still higher DPS than wolves- but not by a game-breaking amount. Wolves just add their DPS in other ways.
Gorillas are the king of Tenacity pets at the moment, but bears are still great pets. It’s like the difference between a Prot Pally and Druid tank.
Spiders are incredible PvP pets because of their 4 second pin. Other Cunning pets are great for PvP, but not as OP.

Am i right in thinking that with the new patch, and the big change in pet talents, and the three groups. are all pets in the same group about equal? all be it different talents.
For example the cat and the wolf being the same DPS.

Aan-Mages are not that hard. Just use yourooldowns of how to get to him and your stuns wisely – Don’t feralharge if not slowed or if he hasn’t used blink. – Don’t stun if blink is not onD (eept for the opening poue) – Use the time of a stun tolone, regrowth and restealth. – Work with bleeds (heant heal and if u have a hard time getting near him, this is the way to go) – use his eblk to restealth – Powershift > Slow in important moments (not possible over the whole fight, but it will bring you near him if needet) – DON’T REW UP AND MAKE U HAVE THE OPENER Thats about it
If he puts up his trinket or any other self-buff, don’t forget barkskin and bear form. In bear, self-buffed, I have over 30k hp. Tossing on barkskin will mean that, even if he puts out insane damage, you still have at least a third of your health. Youan also use Feralharge to lk out the aane hool for a little bit. areful though, bause I believe spellstealan take barkskin. Adds insult to injury.
I like to start by insulting their mother, then I move on to their skinny littlehken legs. After that I’ll talk about how me and their girlfriend used to date. Usually at that point they start randomly spazzing and popping everything they have. I like to shadowmeld to drop target, whh pisses them off even more. They’ll spam aane explosionfrost nova wasting that extra spellpower on nothing and killing their mana. I’ll mention that time I spent the night with his sister. I’ll swih to bear and bash while emoting my hump mro, fitting sie I just mentioned their sister. At this point they tend to blink away from me, so I just feralharge them as they start their next aane spell. It’s funny to wah them jump in the air trying to run away from me. I’ll swih to kitty and manglerake their feass off. When finished I’llalmly sniff around the body and then preed to mark my territory. Oh wait, you said a “friend” who plays an aane mage…. Sorry,an’t help you there.

So I have played elemental for nearly a year now. My shaman is geared to the teeth in epix for both pve & pvp gear. I was soonvied that I would never resp bk to en… when I spced elemental for the first time, that I sold all my en gear. Whh also freed up spe in my bank. Now after so many months of being elemental, I seek ahange. I dislike healing, tried it oe. It was good, but the initial eitement lasted 2 weeks & I respced bk to good ol’ elemental. So I’m left with enhaement. With the renthanges to en, I figured it was worth a try. Also reading all the praises to thehanges in this talent tree in this forum, added to my rationalizing that I should go en. I managed toollt 35 of T4 en set and some other melee dps gear. But as most ers in this forum say, itemization for en shaman is teh sk. Other than the Tier sets, other mail gear lks Str. So I amonsidering getting leather gear with str. I got this idea from another en shaman. I am going to raid only after I resp to en, so why not? I’m going to be 1 shotted anyway if I pull aggro even if I am to wear full mail gear. So, what will you guys do? Insist on full mail gear or wear leather pies to fill in the gaps for Str stat?
We regularly let enhaement shamans roll on leather; there really is very little else for them aside from tier sets and hunter loot. However, the most important pies you need to worry about as enh are the weapons.
I would grind BGs for the S1 enhae gear. Enhae shaman is one of the few sps that does just fine PVE in full PVP gear. The PVP gear has lots of str andrit, whh are the 2 stats you should be looking for. With 3 pies of T4 enhae you’ll be even better. I know grinding BGsan be tedious, but the gear is so mh better than the dungeon blues or even Kara eps for enhae sp that it’s well worth it.
